13 months old - baby teacher

1 year old onwards, she seems to grow very fast and more mature each day. She's able to communicate what she wants and what she wants us to do.

 

Every night, when she's ready to go to bed, she'd wave bye bye to everyone as told and she'd let me carry her up to our room without making any noise. She understands what is bedtime. Everytime I tell her "bedtime" and pass her a cloth, she'd hug the cloth and lean her head on my shoulder. So sweet and so cute...I'll tell her, ok, it's bed time, (pass her the cloth), zhi ying bao bao, tang tang (she'd hug hug the cloth & lean her head on it & on my shoulder).

 

Yesterday, something very funny happened. Mom, baby & I went for dinner. We brought along one of her book. Mom asked her in mandarin where is monkey. She pointed  the wrong one. Mom said, "chuo liow" i.e. wrong. So, bb waved her hand to express that she got the wrong one. Then she pointed again and this time she got it right. Later when we got home, I pointed to her the monkey and said it in english. She then waved her hand and make the "hmmph" sound like telling me that's  wrong. Hahahaha! Then she brought the book to mom and went "ah ah ah" i.e read to her. Mom asked her in mandarin and bb pointed correctly all the animals in the book. SO FUNNY!!!

 

Nowadays, i give her a hot bath before going to bed at night. So, last night, she dragged the pail out and pointed inside of the pail i.e. she wants to go inside the pail. Hahaha! So I put her in there while I get the hot water ready. Everytime after a hot bath, she'd feel very sleepy.

 

Every morning & evening, whoever goes out and comes back, would need to give her a hug. Otherwise, she'd demand for it until she gets it and it's really difficult to resist her. Hehehe.

 

Everytime we ask if she's a good girl, she'd pat pat on her chest. Meaning she's a good girl. When we ask her where's her nose, she'd do the breathing sound. When we ask where is her hand, she'd lift her leg up. She always get that wrong. So funny! When we ask where's her leg, she'd lift her left leg up. Hahaha! If her right leg is up, she'd put it down first then later lift her left leg up.

 

She knows how to "sayang" and "bao bao" ppl and she makes me melt everytime she does that to me.

 

Walking 1 year old baby

She could walk by herself steadily on her birthday.

 

The other day, she impressed me by showing me the flash card with the word "clock" which was half covered by the flash card with the butterfly word. Then she showed me which one is motorcycle in word. So, at least now i know, although she always turn the card to look at the pictures, the words did go into her brain.

 

Now, she'd choose a book and ask me to read to her. She has her own preference. There were 2 books, 1 about Hero Dog and 1 the Duncan Duck. She loves the Duncan Duck and always pick that one when i put the 2 books together. She'd point to me the fish, frog and the duck. She points with her index finger. It looks short, fat and cute. She loves Ralph the Rabbit too. She's point to me which is porcupine, fox, lorry and flower.

 

Sometimes she'd show me the thing on her hand and make noise like "ah ah" or something. I assume that she's asking me to tell her what is it. So, I'd tell her what is that she's holding and she'd then look at it as if analysing it further.

 

Everytime we go shopping, I'd let her walk for awhile and she'd hold my hand and lead me to wherever she wants to go. The other day she led me to a little boy. Then she went nearer and nearer to that boy. Hahaha!! so cute. That little boy's parents said that Zhi Ying is a very friendly baby. She was very happy that day and she kept grinning.

 

Whenever you say monster, she'd make the monster sound. There was 1 time she scared Sue Yin her 3 mths younger cousin sister till she cry. Then later she saw Sue  Yin, again, she made the monster sound. Haha!!

 

Then the otherday we took her for a swim. She vomited before she came up from the pool. She was so tired she fell asleep before we reach home. We then had to shower her eventhough she's asleep. Daddy held her and i cleaned her. She slept thru although the water got to her face a little. So Funny!! Then she slept for 1 more hour. When she woke up and gave us a big grin as usual.

 

Today she's got fever again. Makes me worry. 37.7 according to mom and she gave bb paracetamol already. Hopefully the fever will go off soon and not come back ever again.

 

Her upper gum has 3 teeth and lower gum has 2. Total only 5.

 

Everyday she wakes up, she'd point at the door. Everytime when I tell her that she can't touch something cos it belongs to someone, she won't touch it (she listens most of the time). Everytime she wants me to nurse her, she'd say "nen nen" and look at me and pull my collar with a special smile on her face - like she's a little embarrass)

 

She could pronounce dog, kok = clock, keh keh = cat cat, berh = bird, beh=bear, wish = fish..etc etc with her funny sound. She also tried to make Meow sound which sounded very funny. I should record it down when i have a chance.It's difficult to do that cos she'd grab my camera from me everytime i try to take a video her.

 

Now that she's a little older, she'd wave bye bye when we tell her to. When I say lets go lets go, she'd say go go go and walk together with me holding my hand. I love her tiny little hand.

Baby broke mommy's heart to tears - 12 Oct 2008 (sunday)

Baby refused breast since Sunday afternoon. Tried to feed her several times even in the car on our way to Grandad's house but she refused to have it. Mommy was very heart broken cos everytime mommy offer her, she's just turn away. It's not her usual reaction and it's as if she thinks it's embarassing to continue to have mommy's breast milk. I thought she would probably want it during bed time. Surprisingly, she didn't want either and when i gave her bottle with milk powder, she drank it instantly and finish the whole bottle. I was so heart broken and can't hold my tears. She doesn't want me anymore and she has grown up suddenly??i'm not ready for that emotionally. Then she just toss and turn around on the bed trying to fall asleep but she couldn't as this is not her usual way to fall asleep. Usually, I'll nurse her till she falls asleep. I thought I'll just let her practice to fall asleep by herself but she sort of disturbed daddy. So, I brought her to granny's room. Granny said probably she has grown-up and thinks she shouldn't be drinking from mommy's breast anymore or maybe granny teased her in the afternoon by saying she shouldn't drink mommy's milk anymore. I just feel like crying out loud. At last she fell asleep in granny's arm around 11pm, after making some noises cos she was extremely sleepy already. Later at 2:30am, she woke up again. Normally, she'd want to have breast milk and fall back to sleep. But this time she refused and just cried. So, i carried her downstairs, she lean her head on my shoulder and fell asleep after that. Daddy made her milk bottle but she rejected it. I pity her. She seem restless and tired but just couldn't sleep. Then she woke up at 5:30am, same thing, I carried her downstairs again and this time she didn't seem to want to sleep anymore. She wanted to play.So, i showed her some flash cards. Granny woke up around 7:30am and brought her to the garden for a walk. I told granny what happened the whole night. We suspect it could be that granny told her she cannot drink mommy's milk anymore or she had stomach ache. Anyway, later when they came back from their morning walk, granny asked her if she wants nen nen. Granny said "o.k., mommy nen nen ya? mommy, mommy come". At last, she didn't reject me and fell asleep after that. I miss her so much that i hold her, put her head on my right arm, my left hand on her waist and lie on the sofa together with her. I miss her so so so much. Keep on smelling her and lean my cheek on her head. I love her hair. They are so fine and soft.Miss miss miss her madly!! Mommy's not ready to quit breast feeding emotionally :P

Baby's development - 11 months & 2.5 weeks

Baby has grown taller and she's now learning to walk by herself. However, most of the time, she still feel more comfortable holding our hands to walk.

Every morning when she wakes up, she crawls to daddy and wants daddy to carry her to go out of the room. Daddy would ask her to point what is it that she wants. She then will point the door i.e. she wants to go out. Nowadays, she's learning to communicate by pointing to the things she wants or place she wants to go. Everytime she can't open her book or the cover of her cup, she'll make noise to get help.

There was 1 day, she saw her shoes and she brought the shoes to me. Then she pulled my finger and led me to the door. So funny, she wanted to go out!!

I just started to brush her teeth last 2 days. Bought her 1st Oral B tooth brush. She didn't reject when i put the brush into her mouth.

She loves to play with the ball. Whenever it roll under the sofa, she'd put up her hands as if to say the ball is gone. Then she'd bend over and lean her head on the back of her palm and look under the sofa. Then she'd pause for a moment as if thinking what to do now.

She knows what i mean when i say "change nappy". She'd stop moving and let me change and she'd have that innocent look on her face.

She loves Ralph the Rabbit story book. She'd point to show me which is flower when I asked for flower, lorry or wolf.

I've been giving her rice cereal with apple or pear for breakfast and porrige for lunch and dinner, then milk powder & rice cereal for supper. Since then, her poo has been a little hard. Before this, she had potato puree with vege and meat. So, yesterday i gave her potato puree with mashed apple. Mom said her poo is not as hard anymore. Good sign. Hehe.

Everyday when daddy or mommy comes home, she'd cry dramatically if daddy doesn't carry her. Hahaha!! She'd even face down on the floor and cry.

She misses mommy when mommy goes to work. Sometimes she thought mommy is upstairs.She'd point to the stairs as if telling granny she wants to go up.

When she sees picture of baby eating, she'd say mom mom or make the "muax muax" sound. So funny. She'd point at the picture at the same time.

She usually wants to sleep around 10:30pm and wakes up around 6:50am. In between she still gets up for few times. Maybe because she pee or wants milk.But most of the time, i'll nurse her and we'd fell asleep together.

Baby's 1st tooth - 20th Sept 2008 (11 months and 4 days old)

I could see her 1st tooth popped out when we're lying on the bed on Sunday morning. I could feel the tooth with my finger. Haha!! At long last. Mom told me she already saw it on Saturday night when Zhi Ying was playing in her room. I could feel her tooth too when i breast feed her. It looks cute. Tiny little white thing. Her gums around that area were red and abit swollen on Saturday morning and she has bad breath too.

Malacca trip - 31Aug08

We passby Malacca last Sunday on our way back to KL from Segamat. We had chicken rice ball and cendol. We took baby for a walk around. She's very happy and keep on pointing here and there and said "ooo....". Her "ooo..."s sounds funny, sounds like she hasn't seen much before and soemtimes can be quite dramatic.

 

She was busy telling daddy what was around the area and suddenly, she leaned on daddy's chest and fell asleep. So funny. We're on our way to collect our car to head back to Segamat. I put her on the back seat with me sitting next to her. She had a wonderful weekend as she smiled to me when she woke up later. So sweet.

Learning to walk and share her apple - 10 months and 2 weeks

She managed to make few steps by herself since last week. The highest record was 7 little steps. Granny counted. I'm so happy and excited.

Last week I let her hold a quarter of an apple to feed herself. As she still hasn't got any teeth, I don't have to worry that she'll bite any big chunk and get chocked. At the same time, I fed her potato mix vege & fish puree. When i say "mommy mum mum", she'll put the apple to my mouth to feed me. When i say "zhi ying mum mum", she'll put the apple into her mouth. I find her actions are super duper cute! So whenever she feeds me, i'll quickly put a spoon of her puree into her mouth as she doesn't like puree that much. SHe wants adult food like rice but she has got no teeth yet. She loves bread too.

 

I read an article about swimming and it says that swimming helps strengthen baby's muscle. I guess that explains why she has strong legs to walk at such early stage.

 

She's more clingy to me lately. I read from the internet baby at 10th month will be afraid of certain things. Maybe they are more aware of the surrounding. So I hope she'll be back to herself soon - bubbly & cheerful.

Baby doesn't like solid very much

She's 10 months and 2 weeks now and still doesn't fancy the solids i give her. I think it's about time to try something else. Daddy made her food and put them in seperate containers for different flavors but sometimes granny went and mix them up altogether. So, as usual, she didn't like the food. She has been eating mix purees since 8 months old and everyday.

i think i'll buy more fruits to mix with her food. So stressful having to think and think ways to make her love her food. :'(

Pointing with her fingers & loves to walk - 10 months

She knows where is clock, television, fan, lights, mirror, bear bear, birds, moon, airplane and doggie. She'll point to the things whenever I ask her. Sometimes she'll tell me stories using her baby language. For instance, she told me ta gu ( sis in law) fed her. I held her and she pointed at ta gu while baby-talk to me with expression on her face and ta gu was on her way up to her room that time.

 

I also taught her how to get down from the bed as I don't want her to fall off the bed anymore.I told her becareful, u can do it, slowly. I twisted her buttock and pulled her leg towards the floor few times. Now she's able to do it by herself and she always smile when her feet touches the floor. Sometimes she is scared and wants me to help. But i'll just encourage her by saying u can do it yourself clever girl and i'll clap my hands to show support. Then she'll face down on the mattress and cry as if i don't want her. So funny. Then she'll look up to me again and show me her pity face which really makes me laugh even more.

 

Her favourite cartoon is Jojo, Dibo and Mickey. I think it's because these shows have alot of songs and colours. It's good time to feed her when any of these shows is on.

 

Her appetite is fairly good. She opens her mouth but she gets bored sitting at one place for too long. She doesn't eat very fast. So, I always need to get another bowl to take out half of the food to feed her, and the rest i'll feed her later after a short break. She's not too bad actually, she just need a short break in between. I love her so much.

 

I love her fine baby hair, her fat fingers, thighs, toes, feet, cheeks, tummy, tiny mouth, teethless gums and laughes (it's contagious). I love to smell her. I love to hug her. I love to play hide & seek with her. I love to bath her. I love to spend time with her. I love her love her love her so much. I'm poisoned. Hahaha!!!

 

She used to wave bye bye whenever I told her to but now she doesn't do it anymore. I miss her bye bye wave. It's super cute and funny.

 

She'll let strangers carry her if they tell her they'd show her doggie. :S She loves animals.

 

She loves to walk. Last week, the first time, we had to let her walk holding both her hands when we're at Putri MArt's kedai Ubat.She was twisting all over as if she wants to get down. So, i told hubby "aiya, let her come down la. it's o.k. At least she's wearing her socks."So, we let her walk around for awhile and she was so excited and kept smiling. Mom said she'll probably be able to walk by herself when she's 11 months old.

 

She loves to climb the staircase and all the way up to ah yi's room cos ah yi's room has a big mirror. SHe'd turn the mirror back and look whats' at the back, turn it front again to see what's infront. Haha!  

 

Lately, she loves to pull up her shirt and let us tickle. Then she laughs madly. Hahaha!!!

Holiday in Redang 25-27July08

Zhi Ying is 9 months already.

 

Every morning, we wake up around 6:30am. Breakfast started at 7am. I'd give Zhi Ying her Gerber food or bread along with some water from her favourite trainer cup.

 

One funny thing she did during this holiday was she'd stand up to poo and the expression on her face was very funny. Her face will turn red for few seconds and then she'd want you to carry her as she didn't want to sit back down with her poo in her nappy. So, every time she requests to get out from the baby chair, i'll check her nappy. True enough, I'd see her poo in there. Hahaha!!!

 

Another funny incident was, when i washed her back side in the man's toilet with daddy. First of all, like any other times, i took off her nappy, this time i saw there were stools coming out half way. I didn't have time to put some toilet paper on the sink. Quickly, i helped her to force out the stools by pressing the side of her anus repeatedly. Her face was red cos she use alot of energy too. Her stools were quite hard. Gross right? But i had to go on for her to read when she grows up. So, as u can imagine, the stools were in the sink - so smelly, but what can i do but to hang in there and pack up as fast as possible. After I washed her buttock, I'd to pick up those stools in the sink and throw them into the bin. I nearly puke. She saw that and laughed so loud.

 

Zhi Ying enjoyed herself and that makes the holiday super duper wonderful.

 

She didn't cry when the Berjaya plane took off or landed. She always falls asleep when grandad holds her - during her sleeping time. If either daddy or me hold her to put her to sleep, she'll toss and turn to make sure she doesn't fall asleep.

 

Daddy and I managed to go Scuba diving. Initially, I didn't want to go due to the hot sun cos I've sensitive skin. But daddy said we haven't dive together before. Wow, then i thought, how sweet would that be, to hold hands and play with fish in the water. So, I agreed. Hahaha!! Who knows, i ended up diving with the dive master. Daddy was about 5 feet away from me. Why? cos initially I was panic as i havent dive for a long time.I've forgotten what to do to sink into the water and not use to the gears. Hahahah!! With the dive masters help, i manage to sink in and slowly tried to enjoy the dive. But after awhile, i had headache. I didn't want to disappoint others especially Siew Yien cos she has been missing her dive badly and i want her to dive longer. So, i tried to do Qi Gong breathing thru the mouth.Hahaha!!! But still, after that, situation didn't improve. So, i signal the dive master to go up (thums up). He looked shocked cos i guess it was just a shore dive and to the divers, it's like going into the swimming pool. He insisted that we swim back instead of going up. Which i hated so much at first but at the end realised that it was better than going up to the surface. Fuhlamak....pengsan aku. Anyway, we manage to see 2 sharks and 1 big garoupa fish. Very scary.TO be continue at home....wait for my details...

 

30th July 08 Diary - Baby claps & 1st 2 steps

Zhi Ying kept saying “cho cho” lately i.e. smelly in mandarin. She’ll point at the fan when we say fan or fong san. She also knows how to clap clap. She’s having 3 meals a day and drinks lots of plain water from her cheap trainer cup. I chose a cheap one cos I didn’t know if she would like the cup. Turn out she likes the cup and she likes to hold it and bites it all over. I’ve bought the same one for Magdelene and Sue Yin last night at Sunway Jusco. I can’t get the red colour one. But I got a yellow colour one with Big Bird fr Sesame street picture on it. Zhi Ying's has the picture of Elmo and a hen. So, I always show her which is Elmo and which is chicken together with the chic chic sound. 

 

Zhi Ying still has no teeth. Sue Yin already got 2 teeth. Magdelene has 4 teeth.

 

Zhi Ying likes to stand up lately. She managed to make 2 step forward by herselft on the 24th July. Mom was very happy so she called to tell me the good news. But actually. It was just that. She doesn't really know how to walk yet. Hahaha. Mom always say she's very daring. There was once when mom left her alone in the living hall to get something from the kitchen, she climbed the stairs up to the 3^rd stair case. So scarry!!

 

This week we're staying in 33. Every morning, around 7:30, Pin will send baby and I back up the hill. Then I’ll heat up her food, mop the floor, change the sterilizer water and put the clothes to wash. Then if I’ve time, I’ll feed her and show her flash cards to get her attention. Besides that, I’ll have channel 613 on as well.

 

This morning, grandpa yeh yeh brought zhi ying to the park to play on the swing, seesaw and the toy horse. Later when daddy sent us home, granny put her in the stroller and went for a walk. What a great start of the day! So, after granny fed her (solids- that daddy made last night) and gave her some water, she fell asleep without much fuss.

 

These 2 days, she cried more than usual. She cried every time she wakes up. Yesterday mom let her cry on the floor and watched her. She crawled and cried and put her face down on the floor repeatedly. She doesn’t cry that much normally. I guess she really misses Pin & I badly. She's been with us for the last 3 days in Redang. This is the side effect of a great holiday. Hahaha. Think she’ll get use to her normal routine soon.

 

Yesterday Pin, mom, baby & I went to Sunway Jusco to replenish baby’s food. They have an organic section there. We bought potatoes, pumpkin, baby corn, Japanese sweet potatoes, and broccoli. We still have pork and fish and lots of baby carrot, so we didn’t buy those. Baby fell asleep while we were choosing the trainer cups in the childrens department and she was still sleeping when we reached home. Her sleeping time is 9:30pm. While I wiped and changed her into her sleeping clothes, Pin made prepared her food and put them in the freezer.

18th July 08 - Baby's walker toppled!! said "che", new byebye style & her poo

Zhi ying knocked her forhead, just above the right eye the other day at 33.She was in the walker and she flew into the toilet in the kitchen. The walker toppled over cos the toilet floor is a step lower than the kitchen floor. So her whole body was up side down in the walker and she fell on her right forehead. I quickly picked her up and checked if her eyes and head were alright. She cried and cried and before she cried too long, I brought her out to the car porch and immediately she stopped crying, which probably means, it wasn't that painful after all. She probably got a shocked, that's all.

Nowadays, mom helps me to feed zhi ying 3 meals a day. I don't have to feed her before I go to work. However, sometimes I still try to feed her before I go to work so that mom can relax abit. I just have to mop the floor for her to crawl about and to make sure no ants on the floor. Sometimes Pin will help to mop the floor and prepare zhi ying's food and freeze them before he goes to bed. Sometimes, mom will help us to prepare her food when she's not too tired during the day.

There was a monkey that lingered around our neighborhood last week. It was a small little monkey. I guess it came from the reserved forest nearby. Mom was very scared and worried that the monkey will make its way into the house thru our thin grill. But I think it has gone back to the forest now. Didn't hear mom talking about it already. Maybe can't find anything to eat here.

Think I heard zhi ying saying "che" = car while pointing her finger to a car last night. Hahaha. Now, she changed her bye bye style already i.e. she'll hold up her arm and just moving her wrist up and down. I shall try to take a video of her doing that when I've chance. About her potty and her poo, everytime she doesn't want to poo anymore, she'll make noise like telling mom she has done her work already and wants to get up now. But everytime, if mom is not satisfied of the amount, she'll get her to sit longer to poo. Hahaha, so funny lah. Her poo is really smelly. But quite cute. About 5cm long and thin, brown in colour.

11th July 08 Diary - Baby tripping and clumsy

Zhi Ying kept tripping and falls down these days. She's very clumsy. Hmm...luckily she still has some fats on her. She already lost a lot of fats due to lots of crawling. I'm trying to feed her more. I'm feeding her 2-3 times a day, each time half cup of mix potatos, carrot, broccoli, pork & fish. Then she'll have about 8 -10oz of milk hopefully. Sometimes if she sleeps too much during the day, then she can barely finish up the 8oz. Before I go to work, I'll try to feed her solid. Then in evening when I'm home, I'll feed her another solid. During the day, I told mom only if she's not too tired, then she can give her 1 meal of solid.

3rd July 08 Diary - Baby and a scratch on her face

Zhi Ying fell and got a scratch on her face. She hit the sharp edge in the baby cot - that part where you can pull half way down. It happened in split second. I was standing just next to the baby cot. She was standing up holding on the grill. She was very stable at first and she could even walk side way while holding onto the grill. All of a sudden her right hand slipped off while she released her left hand from the grill, then she fell on her face onto the sharp edge. I quickly picked her up and cuddled her. I was very scared at that moment cos she cried till almost loosing her voice and gripped me very tightly. That means it's extremely painful.I could see a red cut into her skin next to her left eye. Quickly, I held her head up to see her face and massaged the left side of her face which was red. I don't know where she actually hit until i saw a red cut next to her left eyes. I could see some red veins in her eyes. I was so worried that she'll loose her eye sight. Mom wasn't around, only Hwa. I monitored her few days. Mom said she seems normal and no unusual behavior. 

 

30th June 08 Diary - Baby's got flu for the 2nd time

Zhi Ying caught mom's virus on Saturday - 28June afternoon. So, for Saturday night & Sunday night, I couldn't sleep well. Poor zhi ying got a lot of cendol in her nose. But she managed to sleep abit. I hug her to sleep.

Today is Monday morning and I feel extremely sleepy.

We've moved the baby cot from my in law's house to our room. It's really useful. I can brush my teeth or take a shower peacefully.

We've been showing Zhi Ying flash cards. She knows which is car and which is bear. She will choose car when we say car and choose bear when we say bear. She knows how to wave byebye and Hi. Same actions. And she likes to do " babababababa..." by putting her fist to her mouth.

This morning, zhi ying woke up around 8am. Nowadays she likes to hit her own back side. She'll lie on her side then flap her arms and hit her thigh repeatedly. Then sometimes, I smack her everywhere like she's a roti canai. She seems to enjoy it no matter how I turn her, roll her, shake her when she's lying down on the bed. She's so funny. Last night evening, she was holding a long carrot stick, she lay on the mattress in the living room. Pin was with her while watching DVD. She just lay there and bable while chewing her carrot.

Mom changed her nappy while she's asleep just now afternoon. Brought her to the sink to wash her back side and she was still asleep while washing - mom said she seems to enjoy washing her buttock alot - very comfortable. Hahaha!!!

24th June 2008 diary - Baby loves animals

Today,24th June 08 - Wednesday morning - mom brought zhi ying to her friends house. There were dogs. She loved them and she kept kicking her legs. So funny. Mom's friend said zhi ying got very smooth skin. So Touch her abit. Haha.

This morning I woke up late cos zhi ying slept till 8am. So, I din't have time to feed her solids. Mom had to help me today to feed her. Luckily it wasn't very difficult today.

Chiang Mai Trip & baby learn to sit & call pa pa

During the 5 days in Chiang Mai, my baby managed to to sit up and called papa. Around 6:40am, during that 5 days, she woke up, crawled to papa and pulled his shirt. She went to papa, twist & turned around and all over him until he wakes up to pick her.She went "ba ba ba ba....". Then we went for a walk outside the hotel. She sat in her stroller quietly looking at things and vehicles. Breakfast starts at 7am Thailand time. We gave her papaya most of the morning and sometimes banana. She is fine with these 2 fruits. We took her to the pool every evening and she's the champion for breast stroke. We took some picture of the babies in the pool and they're all very funny. She had flu till now since the night we came back from Chiang Mai. Poor baby.

 

Last night, for the 1st time, i heard her babbling away like 1 yr old Carmella. She sounded so cute. "joo joo da da da ja ja" etc etc.

 

She laugh easily altho she's half way crying with tears all over her face.

Memory of the 1st night I spent with my baby

It was very sweet, the first night I spent sleeping with my baby on the day she was born. I can still remember how I cuddled her. I placed her on the right side of my waist, with my right palm massaging her little feet and my left hand holding her little body whenever she moves about, to help her get use to her new environment. She was with me the whole night. I can't think of any words to describe that wonderful feeling. She was a very tiny little 2.6kg baby. She seemed comfortable sleeping with me too. :)

Maid disaster

I hired those part-time maid few months back and I've stop their services today cos I realised that they are not performing well. Worst part is they ruined my property. Hmm.. made me really upset. Having little time for myself to take care of baby and now I've to push my limits further. Having no maids now, my plan is to do all the chores by myself, 1 task a day. I wonder if i can cope with that. God, please help me.

Full 6 months

She's 6 months and 5 days old now. I realized changes in her sleeping position at night. She starts to turn to her right side to sleep and her position is extremely funny with one leg up and far apart from another.

I also notice that she knows the song lyric for Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I was feeding her while singing the other day. Then I changed the lyric of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to get my sis to switch on the air-cond. She turned and stared at me with that expression on her face "mommy, what is that?".

My baby ~ 5 months & 3 weeks old

She's now 5 months and 3 weeks old. Off late, I realized she kicks whenever we get near the door. I guess she thought she's going out. Maybe she's very excited. She's so funny.

 

Sometimes during midnight, she wakes up and roll-over and got stuck between the pillows, she'll shout for help. Hahaha. My little baby,you're so funny. Sometimes she'll just play by herself until she gets hungry and sleepy. Then she'll shout for me. When I go to her, she'll chuckle as if she's very happy to see me; happy maybe she knows I'm about to give her milk. The look on her face makes me laugh~that innocent eyes and sweet smile.
