First time drawing your thoughts

Mommy was so happy to see you draw out your thoughts for the first time. You used to say you can't draw and you feel sad. But last night, you drew a girl standing on a stool washing her left hand at the basin. First, you coloured the stool blue. I wasn't sure what they were so I asked you to tell me the story of your drawing. You didn't immediately tell me what was the drawing about. I've guessed that suppose to be our blue colour stool but I wasn't sure and didn't want to say the wrong thing and cause you to loose confidence in drawing. So I persuaded you to tell me. At last, you told me that's you standing on the blue stool washing your hands. I couldn't tell that's the basin and the water tap because they were very tiny. The basin looked like a plate. So I couldn't actually figure out the tap. Anyway, you drew a hole in it later to improvise the picture so that it look more like a basin. Then you wrote there "ZY is washing her hand". I'm not sure whether it was our drawing practices which gain your confidence back or was it Morris Allen's classes drawing session. Anyway, I thought I should jot this down to let you know how happy I am to finally see you draw your thoughts on the paper and colour them.
